You don't have to come to Stream or put them in Stream. When we do ANY video in ODB or SharePoint will get those features.
g a video, setting title/description, and custom thumbnails are all things we are working on building into ODB / SPO. Note: Custom thumbnails are only available on OneDrive Personal If a custom uploaded thumbnail is already set, then this request will overwrite that existing custom uploaded thumbnail. 
This request allows your app to upload a custom thumbnail, which persists with the file even if the file's contents is updated, to any item that has the file facet. Click Change thumbnail, and then choose one of the following options: Capture a thumbnail from video. In the Actions group, click Edit Properties. On the video player page choose the Manage tab in the ribbon. Rest the mouse on the image of the video for which you want to make the selection check box appear, and then click the image to open the video player page. Open the asset library that contains the video. When I share the video to friends via Facebook, sometimes I do not like the thumbnail image that was automatically created when the video was uploaded I haven't been able to find a way to choose my own thumbnail image once a video has been uploaded to my one drive account.
